“I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.” Matthew 25:36
The tragic earthquake in Haiti has left a lot of us overwhelmed by images of suffering. The news and internet are a constant reminder of the pain the the world experiences every day. But what to do? Most of us cannot get on a plane and fix things, and a lot of times our limitations cause us to do nothing.
God has called us to use the resources He has given us, no matter how great or small, for the benefit of others and for the glory of His beautiful name. If you haven’t already, take a moment to ask God how He might lead you to help contribute to the relief of the hurting people of Haiti. You might be surprised by the creative ways that God will call you to serve.
Here’s one way that the Lord is moving to restore the people of Haiti:
This is a compilation CD that will be coming out very soon in order to raise support for Haiti relief; it has songs from a plethora of Southern California artists, including Lovelite. We hope that you’ll be able to contribute to the cause.

Hello Wonders,
Check out this interview of us on “WookieeChew’s Blog” - a Christian blog for music, interviews, links to album previews, free music downloads, music videos, devotionals, etc. She asked all kinds of great questions about how our band came to be, how we write songs, and what we want to do with our music in the future. Thanks WookieChew!

Well, we are officially done tracking, which is only the first of many steps! We are happy to announce that our album will officially be titled, “Nearness.” This is in response to the fact that we are in deep need of God’s nearness to us as we serve and love Him each day.
So far, we’ve had an amazing time working with Tyler Chester who is producing the project. It’s been one of those rare situations where creative minds are able to bond together and have a lot of fun in the process! He’s been able to take our ideas and turn them into something even better than we would have hoped for.
We also just got back tonight from dropping off our tracks to be mixed by Brad Wood. We are very honored and excited to work with him and can’t wait to see how it comes out.
We’ll continue to keep you posted on our progress!

Prayer Requests:
*That God would use this new CD to bring worship, healing and freedom to it’s listeners.
*That God would protect us from the attacks of the enemy as we finish this project.
*That we would continue to have inspiration and momentum as we work on this aspect of the recording.
Hello all,
We just wanted to keep you in the loop for our new album, which we hope to have out in early 2010!
We are pleased to say that God was faithful to inspire us with 6 new songs and the opportunity to re-record Finally Free (which you may have heard on our very first self-titled EP). We have finished recording all of these songs, and now we are getting ready to have it mixed and mastered.
Meanwhile, we are having the artwork done by a very talented artist and plan to have the artwork be another way that we can use creativity to minister to others. Our God is a creator and we believe that art and creativity are an important part of the church; that is why we are working hard to make sure that not only the songs themselves, but the music and visual art play a large role in our offering to the Lord.
We are still in need of your prayers as we continue to give this new project over to the Lord. Please pray that God would use this new album as a vehicle of worship and healing; that God fill this album as we put to use our poetry, music and visual art.
Thanks for all your support…
