This is a ministry that we are excited and humbled to be a part of… check out comeandlive.com

Our record label and partner in ministry, Come&Live!, has launched their new website! Check it out and download a FREE 16 song sampler (including our song “There You Are,”) along with an intro by John Piper. It’s FREE!!! (Did we mention that it’s free?)
If you haven’t read about the vision of Come&Live!, take a moment to look at the website and see what God is doing.
Pray for us as we finish writing a batch of new songs: that we would be led by God in our lyrics so that others can grow and connect in worship. We want to be true to the style of music we listen to and enjoy while at the same time motivating and encouraging the church with the message that He has given us.

Had a great week at Pine Summit…
We went up Sunday night and played each morning and evening, and then came home late Wednesday night. The week was filled with ministry to students, band bonding and eating a lot of Big Bears’ unique cuisine (starting with Dennys’ at 10PM Sunday night, but we got more creative later on)!
It seemed like this week God wanted to use the band to inspire students to grow in their own ministry and creativity; that was a huge joy to see. Our keyboard player took time to teach one of the students how to play a song on the piano, which she later played in front of the whole camp. Another student came up to Andrew and I and told us that he was inspired to start writing music again, and wants to write worship songs. One high schooler sang One and Only in an end of the week talent show; I’m sure he has no idea how much that blessed us. Every band member had a moment during the week where they had an opportunity to spend time with a student and teach them something about music. To God be the glory!
Overall, I was once again reminded that God is One who wants to use us in new and unique ways. I never know what to expect when we leave home for one of these camps, but I do know that God always has a plan. I am continually amazed when I think of all that He has done in our ministry and in our lives; we could never take credit for an ounce of it. Our God is so worthy of our praise, and we are so grateful that we get to serve Him.
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
Eph. 3:20-21

We had the pleasure of playing this weekend at Green Valley Lake for Harvest’s college and career group, “The Well.” It was cool to see God working in the hearts of so many people throughout the weekend.
I had a moment when I was sitting in the back of the room while another great band was leading worship and happened to notice the silhouette of one particular girl’s hands in the air. Her fingers were stretched out with fervency, then they would ball up into fists as she sang to the Lord; it was beautiful. I don’t often have the opportunity to be an observer during musical worship since I am usually part of it’s leading, so it was a blessing to witness it happening from a different end of the room. I started to think about how God had created those hands and how she was offering them back to Him with everything she had. That is the only thing God wants from any of us: for us to take what He’s given us and use it to point back to Him. It may not always be in a moment of passionate worship, it may be in the quiet, in our jobs, or on the street. Either way the posture of our hearts should always be the same: full of adoration for the One who created us, the One who gave us what we have. Let us give our gifts and ourselves back to Him.
“For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”
